Growthfund’s main priority is the transformation of its portfolio companies with a view to upgrading their governance model. At the same time, Growthfund reinforces its investment role by channelling its resources towards development initiatives and by reinvesting in the Greek economy. Its new Strategic Plan 2022-2024 looks forward to enhancing public value for Growthfund’s sole shareholder, the Greek state, namely the Ministry Of Finance.

The new Strategic Plan of Growthfund aims to upgrade and expand the company's operational capabilities, not only as an active shareholder but also as a responsible investor. It also actively implements the contribution of Growthfund to Greece's social, environmental, and economic progress. Our vision is to establish a Sovereign Wealth Fund for the country that will gain international recognition for its prudent management of state resources according to ESG criteria, as well as for its responsible investment practices.

Growthfund is committed to streamlining and enhancing the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards across the entire group. This encompasses both the State-Owned Enterprises in its portfolio as well as its future investment initiatives.
