PT Danantara Investment Management (“DIM”) is the investment arm of Danantara Indonesia, Indonesia’s sovereign fund established to support the country’s long-term transformation agenda in line with the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.

Operating under a dual mandate, DIM is responsible for generating sustainable long-term financial returns while delivering measurable economic impact for Indonesia. Through disciplined, long-term capital allocation, DIM seeks to strengthen national competitiveness, deepen domestic capabilities, and support long-term economic resilience across strategic sectors.

As part of Danantara Indonesia’s dual-holding structure alongside Danantara Asset Management (“DAM”), DIM serves as the capital deployment platform responsible for investing sovereign capital derived primarily from state-owned enterprise (“SOE”) dividends and other strategic funding sources. This structure enables the separation of SOE transformation and optimisation from investment activities, while maintaining centralised governance, strategic oversight, and disciplined capital management.

At the core of its strategy is a diversified portfolio approach, combining domestic and global investments to optimise risk-adjusted returns. DIM actively expands access to broader funding sources, including public markets and third-party capital, while maintaining prudent balance sheet management to sustain long-term financial strength.

Guided by its dual mandate, DIM prioritises investments that create jobs, foster innovation, and enable knowledge transfer across eight strategic sectors critical to Indonesia's development, including but not limited to:

• Clean energy to support the transition to a low-carbon economy and strengthen energy security
• Downstream natural resources (e.g., nickel, aluminium, bauxite) to enhance industrial value chains
• Digital infrastructure to accelerate connectivity and enable economic transformation
• National infrastructure and utilities to improve efficiency and public welfare
• Industrial zones and strategic real estate to drive regional growth and productivity
• Financial services to deepen capital markets and expand financial inclusion
• Food and agriculture to strengthen national food security
• Healthcare to improve access, quality, and resilience of medical services ;

Beyond its core focus areas, DIM maintains the mandate to selectively pursue investment opportunities in other regulated sectors, where strategic or financial value can be achieved.
