The International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds is launching our annual review, Mapping the Critical Path, at a breakfast event on 23 May 2019 at 08:00 at PwC, 7 More London Riverside, London, SE1 2RT, UK.

The review uncovers some surprising trends that shaped sovereign wealth funds’ investment in 2018. The IFSWF annual review – the first revealing all SWF direct investments in 2018 – shows that SWFs:

  • Returned to the private markets
  • Accelerated their investments in early-stage companies in disruptive industries;
  • Backed companies providing new urban mobility solutions;
  • Developed novel partnerships and co-investment structures.

We will also be joined by Eugene O’Callaghan, Director of the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, Will Jackson-Moore, Global Private Equity, Real Assets and Sovereign Funds Leader, PwC and Bernardo Bortolotti, Director, Sovereign Investment Lab, Bocconi University for a panel discussion on SWF Partnerships in Private Markets.
